Description: Single stem tree 9 x 8 m. flowers pink 3-3.5 cm. occurring with bronze young leaves leaves small 7-10 cm. with very little insect damage. Bark smooth, dark reddish brown. fruit few, eaten by birds. Approx. 15 yrs. old. A young tree with healhty foliage growing wild at entrance to Aizu-takinohara
