Habitat: wild about 600 m off Rt. 121 on rocky dry slope in very stressful area.

Description: Multistem shrubby tree 10 x 10 m. flowers pale pink flushed with rose. 2.5-3 cm. occuring with small bronze young leaves leaves dull green 13-16 cm. Bark smooth reddish brown. Few fruit Stem suckering from base of larger tree that died many years ago. Approx. 20 yrs. old.
