Single stem tree 25 x 20 m. flowers beautiful medium pink 3.5-4 cm. occuring with bronze leaves Petals cupped and overlapping. leaves dark green with insect damage. Bark very rough. A wild plt. approx. 100 yrs. old. A beautiful tree. Pointed out by Mr. Nishimura a local nurseryman.
