Single trunk tree ca 9 m tall. Bark smooth, dark brown with conspicuous lenticels. flowers dark pink, 3.4 to 4.5 cm in daimeter with broad overlapping petals. Very dry rocky slope ca 200 m from road east of city on route 276.
