Low tree with oval crown 6 x 6.5 m. flowers pink, very showy, with oval overlapping petals 3.5-4 cm. Young leaves deep bronze, very small, almost hidden by abundant flowers Mature leaves normal in size and dark green. Bark generally smooth, very dark brown. Approx. 30 years old.
