Spreading tree with horizontal upright branches, 12 x 8 m. Fls pale pink with wide overlapping petals 3.5 -4.5 cm. Young leaves dark bronze, smaller than those on other near by trees. Bark dark brown, rough. Mature leaves green, smaller than normal. Approx. 45 yrs. old.
