Single stem tree 20 x 10 m. with open round crown. Bark smooth, chestnut brown with long lenticels. flowers very pale pink 3-3.5 cm. with spreading, almost flat overlapping petals, occurring with young dark bronze leaves leaves large, 7-9 cm. long very dull green with some insect damage. (Although the tree is not as healthy as some of the other I have seen, it was selected because of its very attractive pale pink flowers fruit few. Approx. 40 yrs.
