United States, District of Columbia, Collected on the Grounds of the U.S. National Arboretum, Washington, DC.
Growing as an evergreen, spreading shrub, 4-5 feet tall. Leaves deep green, coriaceous, carpels dehiscing flat exposing the dark orange-red seeds that are very oily.
