United States, Georgia, Richmond County, Collected from Harris Clay, 933 Milledge Rd., Augusta.
Grows as an evergreen shrub, multitrunked from base, spreading branches, 6-8 feet tall, DBH 2-3 inches. Leaves thick, coreaceous, deep lustrous green, midvein above whitish, lighter beneath.
