Shrub; height 10 ft; bark gray, rough textured; leaves trifoliate, leaflets elliptic to widely obovate (apex acuminate); margins serrulate to serrate; abaxially villous, adaxially sparsely hairy; flowers not present; capsule, pale yellow to greenish, three sided.
