Tree; height 25 ft; DBH 9.3 cm & 18.4 cm; bark grayish brown to brown, deeply furrowed; leaves elliptic-oblong to oblong-lanceolate (base broad-cuneate, apex acuminate); margins serrulate or entire; abaxially lighter green and sparingly pubescent on veins, adaxially dark green and glabrous; flowers not present; capsule, 2 to 4 mm.
